OUR SCHOOL
Kristo Jyoti High School [KJHS] is a Catholic School established by the Diocese of Dibrugarh in the year 1982. It is a Diocesan School under the Catholic Diocese of Dibrugarh of which the Catholic Bishop of Dibrugarh is the Chairman. The school administration, management and the academic activities are carried out by the Principal, the vice Principal, the Headmistress and a group of dedicated Teachers. Kristo Jyoti is a member school under the Diocesan Board of Education, Dibrugarh and follows its syllabus and examinations.
KJHS is a Christian Minority Educational Institution and enjoys the rights and privileges accorded to the Christian Minorities by the constitution of India. The school has also secured permission and recognition accorded by the Secondary Education Board of Assam [SEBA]. The School is under the Secondary Education Board of Assam [SEBA] and follows its yearly planner for examinations.
The name “Kristo Jyoti”, “Christ the Light” is derived from the teaching of Jesus Christ the founder of Christianity who said “I am the Light of the World”. KJHS leaves no stone unturned to promote sound education according to the life and teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Principal's Message

We emphasise in providing a platform of education which is affordable, accessible and accountable to the children from all strata irrespective of caste, creed, religion or economic status.
